This month’s [09.22]¬†Wired¬†is full of gems. Read James Bamford’s in-depth profile of Edward Snowden if you read nothing else. You might feel as if you’ve been given a new lens on the world, and encountered a real-world hero for a new age. I did.

In another piece, on Viv, a promising new AI initiative, its creators share the three simple design principles by which Viv’s knowledge will grow:

It will be taught by the world.

It will know more than it is taught.

It will learn something every day.

I’m going to live by these principles, too.
