Applied Storytelling was established in Los Angeles in 1992 to help companies achieve their market potential using the latest brand insights. By 1999, years ahead of the market, we introduced a story-based approach to brand building. Today, we’re building a new generation of AI-enhanced tools that take our approach to an entirely new level. Approach
Our story-based approach to brand strategy comes from an ongoing investigation into how stories work to support strategic business goals and to sell. We’ve looked at narrative forms as diverse as the zen koan and Sufi teaching story. We’ve practiced the trades of the playwright, scriptwriter, speechwriter and journalist. We’ve immersed ourselves in the Hollywood production model. And we conduct an ongoing exploration into the role media plays in amplifying and diffusing stories in today’s real and digital marketplaces.
